DS Screw Design Development Lab – Pawcatuck CT

Davis Standard maintains a state of the art process development lab to support feed screw design and development for all of its product lines.  The lab is staffed with experienced Process Engineers who specialize in extruder screw design for each of the company’s product lines.

The lab is equipped with highly instrumented extruders for both smooth bore and groove feed extrusion.  The extruders are equipped for single stage and two stage vented applications.  Many screw designs are available to support a wide range of polymer processing applications that include Blown and Cast film, Extrusion Coating, Fiber, Profile, Sheet and Elastomer extrusion.

The following extruder sizes are available for design development.
