BMW 2 – Black Magic Series
The BMW 2 is engineered for stretch film applications up to 3 meters (10 ft.) but can be adapted for winding of other applications with modifications to the lay-on system and web path. The winding system is a modular design incorporating the roll changer, turret, PLC and indexing servo controller into one package providing easy installation and stable operation at a high line speed. The single pivoting shaft design allows for manual or automatic roll removal and re-coring allowing for 45-second cycle times on hand wrap applications.

- 14-inch (356mm) diameter, 500 pound (227 kg) capacity.
- Line speeds up to 2,200 fpm (670 mpm).
- Net finished web widths of (2 m or 6.5 ft.) 84 inches (2,134mm), (2.5 m or 8 ft.) 104 inches (2,642mm) and (3.2 m or 10.5 ft.) 129 inches (3,277mm) with pivot-out shafting.
- The 3.2 meter 129-inch (3,276mm) model incorporates a center support core shaft design exclusive to Davis Standard.
- Center wind with precision transducers for accurate and responsive tension control.
